Growing up in New York my exposure to horses extended to pony rides as a child. My mother rode as a young woman, was thrown and therefore instilled her fear of horses with us. On two significant birthdays I did ride a horse.
My first introduction to Ranch Life was at the Historic Mantle Ranch in Three Forks, Montana. Working with Val and Stephanie Westover was a life changing experience. Over the years working at Ranches in various states, I have developed an overwhelming respect for the men and women who live the Ranch Life.. |
